Bulova Accutron Astronaut GMT- 1970 lumed Second Patina Tropical Dial Serviced @
This watch is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina sunburst dial that can only be aged to perfection after many years. The watch has been serviced and comes with a new battery and spacer running +/- 2 seconds a day. The case is in excellent condition. The bezel moves freely as it should. The crystal has small scuff marks here and there nothing major.
The case backing is excellent with the brushed finish marks showing unpolished. The dial is beautiful, great patina from a light silver gold on the outside to a gold look on the inside in a uniform circle. I'd consider it a patina sunburst kind of look. The hands are in excellent shape along with all the luminous indices. Everything still glows as it should (check last picture).
Most Astronaut watches don't have a luminous sweeping seconds hand this one does which makes it even better. The band is a period correct Baldwin SS with the accutron marked clasp.
